I am from a big family (seven kids) We grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. We were a church-going family who went any time they turned on the lights. My faith became my own in college. At that point I switched from a sports writing major to a ministry degree. I continued my education at Bethel Seminary where I earned a MA in Transformational Leadership.
Like just about everyone from Indiana I grew up basketball obsessed and that hasn't really changed. My favorite time of the year is March Madness. I will most likely come down with a cold and be forced to call in sick the opening weekend of March Madness. I love doing whatever my wife, Kristin, and my kids are into at that time with them. Kristin and I were married in 2005. We have three kids. Our oldest is Kemly, who was adopted from Haiti and we have two biological girls, Harper and Macy.
I love good stories, coffee, and people. I'd be happy to grab a cup and hear your story some time.
